The motion to install street lamps throughout the Valley Green development failed to achieve a 2/3 majority of the 109 members who voted by the deadline.

 

Yes (install street lights) = 56

No (do not install street lights) = 52

Abstain = 1

 

The 2/3 majority needed to pass the motion would have been 72 Yes votes.
